Gritz n Gravy is a bi-monthly magazine focusing on Science-Fiction and Fantasy thru an urban lens. Combining ongoing comic serials, vibrant short story prose & in-depth interviews with content creators within the entertainment industry. Newcomer writers such as Isreba Aiken and Koran Curtis join forces with established comic creators Mike Leeke [Elementals, Pantheon], Sky Owens [Knightmare] and Christopher Taylor [Legion of Super-Heroes, BloodPack] to create a new breed of urban fantasy.

The premiere issue features:

The Cadre – written and illustrated by Mike Leeke, inked by Aaron Beatty.
High adventure, freewheeling mercenaries in space done in a big budget, Cameronesque action adventure style. “There aren’t a lot of science fiction superhero books done well,” says series creator Mike Leeke. “This is my attempt at combining the two genres.”

Kemette: The Sword of Pharaohs – written and illustrated by Sky Owens
The herald of a new order of Kamitan (Ancient Egypt) Gods fighting for a world of disbelievers against the return of an ancient threat. “I created Kemette to show the Real Kamitic Gods, not the whitewash version that’s always been handed to us.” says creator Sky Owens.

Marc Nemesis: The Avatar- written and illustrated by Christopher Taylor
You think you know how the world works … Think again. You can’t see behind the veil. You can’t see the sorcery. You can’t see the alien influence. And you can only guess at The global implications. Nemesis knows the truth. The Avatar has the answers. And things will never be the same. “Christopher Taylor has reinvented manga.” Says Gritz n GravyPublisher Paris Cullins.
