Introducing Francis Austin. One hundred and twenty year old grandmotherto Mark and Nadia. Francis strongly disagrees with her daughter's decision to raise her children outside of the doctrines of the Enclave. She also disagrees with the secret sect's beliefs that Mark is some sort of "chosen one". Nevertheless, she does believe her grandson is destined for greatness and has taken it upon herself to formally train Mark in the ways of the mystic arts. Francis Austin believes that training is absolutely crucial. It's only a matter of time she feels, before Mark goes up against something his fledgling abilities can't handle.
